The 4th IndoAutomotive (Indonesian International Automotive Components, Spare Parts & Accessories Exhibition) was held on 25 – 28 May 2011. The exhibition was officially opened by Ir Supriyanto MM, Director of Land Transport Equipment Industry - Ministry of Industry. A total of 129 companies from China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Germany, Turkey and Russia participated with their latest technology products. There is a marked increase in the number of exhibitors over last year's. 2 IndoAutomotive 2011 was held in a 4655 m exhibition area with a wide spectrum of products from each participating country. Taiwan Pavilion dominated with the hand tools equipment; China Pavilion was a popular booth with its parts components, while Liuzhou Pavilion attracted buyers looking for tie ups and deals with one of China's biggest automotive center and its products. As with the previous years, Indonesian Pavilion showcased its wide range of auto parts from local manufacturers. IndoBike was the added attraction held in conjunction with IndoAutomotive 2011. Many spare parts and accessories of motorcycles and bicycles were featured in this exhibition.
Transactions during the Fair
The feedback from participating companies in IndoAutomotive 2011 has been more than positive. It was reported that there was unexpectedly high enthusiasm and a greater willingness to invest from an audience of some 13,020 professional buyers and industry players who visited the exhibition. A large percentage of the exhibitor's interviews conducted rated the commercial outcome of their participation as very good to satisfactory. During the 4 day fair, transactions generated totaled at least 32 Billion IDR. Mrs. Rini Sumardi, Director of PT. Wahana Kemalaniaga Makmur (WAKENI) said that the increase in transaction revenue was 'encouraging.'
Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony was held on 25th of May 2011 at Lawu Room - Trademart Building, Jakarta International Expo. It was the honour and pride of IndoAutomotive 2011 to have had Frost & Sullivan, one of the world's famous research institutes to not only grace our opening ceremony, they were also present to announce and award automotive companies who have given significant contributions to related industries and recognize those that have successes in positioning their company or product in the market place. Many VIPs and luminaries attended the Grand Opening Ceremony. They include the Director of Land Transport Equipment Industry - Ministry of Industry, Directorate General of Small and Medium Industries – Ministry of Industry, Astra Otoparts, Indonesian Automotive Parts & Components Industries Association, Indonesian Automotive Center, Association of Indonesia Automotive Industry, PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk, PT Mercedes Benz Indonesia, Ford Motor Fiesta and PT Nissan Motor Indonesia. In addition, award winners, representatives from media as well as media owners, officials from government agencies, associates from big automotive companies hyped the event up many notches of grandeur and accorded IndoAutomotive with the stamp of significance, relevance and importance, a milestone not just for the automotive industry but also for PT Wakeni as event organizer.
Taiwan Business Match Making
The Taiwan business match making event was held on 26th of May 2011 at Function Room – Hall D1, Jakarta International Expo. Nine Taiwanese companies conduct intensive discussions with Indonesian companies to find agents, distributors and business partners to market their products in the form of hand tools, spare parts, motorcycles, bicycles, and pneumatics.

Promotion Campaign
No efforts were spared to ensure an aggressive publicity and promotion campaign. Various forms of media were used in order to ensure the success of reaching the targeted groups of trade professionals and industry players, such as: printed advertisement in main media in Indonesia, adlibs in main radio, flyers, brochures, and banners.
Direct Mailing & Electronic Direct Mailing
18,000 direct mailings and 30,000 electronic direct mailings were sent to trade buyers to introduce the fair, promote exhibiting companies and assist overseas trade buyers to plan their itinerary and agenda effectively.
